The ULT Zrt.contracted to receive more than 3,700 hectares of tobacco crop
So far, the ULT (Universal Leaf Tobacco) Magyarország Zrt. contracted to receive more than 3,700 hectares of tobacco crop from the farmers – the CEO of Universal American Corporation’s Nyíregyháza-based subsidiary told MTI on Monday.
Bittner Imre told that the signed agreements pertain to 3700-3800 hectares of cultivated area and the company expects to complete the contracting this week. He added that last year the processing plant in Nyíregyháza took over the crop of about 4,000 hectares of tobacco plantations, and this year the company would like to achieve this amount. (MTI)
