To date, a subsidy payment of 97 billion forints has been paid to farmers
The Hungarian State Treasury has paid up to 97 billion HUF this year to the farmers – the Deputy Chairman of the Hungarian State Treasury told at a press conference in Budapest.
Kondra Laura said that the payment of advances began on 16 October, and farmers received more than 43 billion forints on the first day. This was double the first day advance payment of the previous year.
It is planned to pay a total of 205-206 billion HUF in advance this year, and until 30 June 2018 a total of more than 400 billion HUF will be paid for this year’s direct support – she informed. (MTI)
