E21: green transition is only possible with green financial solutions
Green capital market, green financial products, greener banking aspirations – the most recent meeting of Energia21 was organized around the theme of green financial solutions, where the founding members consulted with the guidance and expert input of significant players in the Hungarian financial life – the Energia21 Initiative informed MTI on Wednesday.
Csaba Kandrács, the vice-president of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, Péter Csányi, the deputy CEO of OTP Bank, and Levente Szabó, the deputy CEO of MBH Bank, also gave a presentation at the April meeting of the Energia21 initiative. The three keynote presentations presented the financial aspects of the green transition taking place in the world, in Europe and in our country in different ways.
From the experts’ analyses, the members of E21 were able to gain a detailed insight into – among other things – the effects of energy dependence on the financial balance of our country, the so-called green capital market trends, effective capital allocation efforts supporting the green transition and the development of products related to green financial solutions, they wrote.
