E-toll: the Ministry of Rural Development lost out in the case of the exemption
Contrary to the government's promises, livestock shipments have not been exempted from the payment of E-toll as well as a variety of agricultural crops.
Due to the e-toll, meat or milk products can become more expensive in short terms, and a lot of food companies afraid of bankruptcy. In agricultural production the e-toll may increase the costs by 1-5 percent, and can reduce the revenues. At some farmers it can take away the entire profit, because as the result of the world market trends purchase prices already fell by 15-20 percent, compared to last year. (agrarszektor.hu)
