E-toll – the freighters are requesting the temporary shutdown of the system

The carriers are requesting the temporary shutdown of the E-toll system, because, according to their experiences it is billing incorrectly, thereby making losses to the entrepreneurs – Peredi Péter, Secretary General of the Freighter Contractors Association (FUVOSZ) at a press conference in Budapest on Monday.

He believes that the government has not yet received real informations about the operation of the system, therefore they did not shut the system down. According to the description of the Secretary-General, the difference between real road usage and the billed amount can be 100 million HUF, since the introduction of e-toll on 1 July.  (MTI)
