E-paper displays at Orange Slovakia: a Hungarian company conquer with digital shelf labels
Thanks to the cooperation between the British ZBD Displays and the Hungarian Laurel the Slovak mobile operator the Orange developed its shops with the electronic shelf labels. The pilot was launched in May 2012 as part of the Orange store renewal program. Since then, in September, the tenth shop has been handed over. The cooperation will be extended to the total Orange network in 2012-13.
The Slovak mobile operator the Orange develops electronic the product information system in its stores with electronic shelf labels. The technology trial was won by the cooperation of the British ZBD and the Hungarian Laurel Group. The agreement and the project covered the ZBD electronic shelf label solutions, custom-developed product information and location management software implementation of Laurel, as well as the custom furniture design of ProCAM.
