Triple exhibition in Düsseldorf, with Hungarian companies
Traceability and wellness are the current trends among fresh product, as illustrated by the traditional Düsselforf exhibition of meat products, dairy products and frozen products. Most Hungarian exhibitors will come from the refrigerating sector. According to Szilvia Máté, head of the representative office of BD Expo, seven Hungarian companies will attend the event, using 66 square meters of exhibition space. Hungarian companies at InterCool will be: D-Back, Marathon Foods, MAR-NE-VALL, Öreglaki Vadfeldolgozó, VADEX. As both price and quality are increasingly important for German consumers, the market share of frozen products is growing. Retail sales totalled EUR 10,5 billion last year, showing a rise of 4,5 percent compared to 2006. Hungerit and Kaiser Food will attend InterMeat. The German market of meat products is expanding, with growth driven by discount stores. There will be no Hungarian exhibitor at InterMopro.
