Mobile use doubled
Research conducted by POPAI North America found that 15 percent of consumers were using their mobiles when buying FMCG products in 2012, but by 2014 this ratio reached 31 percent. Some use their mobiles to seek advice for making decisions, others read the shopping list on them, compare prices or look up promotions.
