SABMiller Unit To Boost Exports
Brewer Plzensky Prazdroj, a unit of global giant SABMiller, has said it plans to double the worldwide exports of its premium lager Pilsner Urquell within five years.
Company CEO Mike Short told the Hospodarske Noviny daily
that the company sees its exports doubling from the current 150,000 hectoliters
exported annually to the US. Short also said that Plzensky Prazdroj also aims
to double its worldwide exports of all its products within the same time
period. The company has spent $77.2m in recent years to boost production
capacity.
