Double Sunday wage to the employees of shops that will open only 5 occassions a year

The National Assembly amended the Labour Code on Tuesday. The amendment was accepted with 138 votes in favor, 37 votes against an 1 abstained.

According to the amendment, those commercial employees will be entitled to one hundred percent additional wage on Sundays, who are working in stores that can open on Sundays five times a year.

The double Sunday wage can be applied on 24 and 31 December as well, if they fall on a Sunday. (MTI)
