A two Michelin-starred chef confirmed as illy coffee ambassadors
According to a report by about-drinks.com, illycaffè has selected two-Michelin-starred Johannes Nuding as the new ambassador for the illy Chef Ambassador Program, further strengthening its premium, fine dining-focused presence.
Johannes Nuding heads the kitchen at the over 400-year-old Gasthof Schwarzer Adler in Hall, Tyrol, which was awarded two Michelin stars in 2025. The chef has previously worked in top European kitchens, including under Joël Robuchon and Pierre Gagnaire, and has also achieved significant success at Sketch “The Lecture Room & Library” in London.
As part of the collaboration, Nuding will create his own signature blend from the nine different Arabica lots that make up the illy blend, with the support of experts from Università del Caffè; the plan is for this blend to be exclusively available at Schwarzer Adler
