The price of apples may increase!

Due to the unusually cold weather of the recent weeks, a decline will occur in quantity of apples from China's northern part. This may easily result in a price increase in the world market.

For decades, such a low temperature have not been seen in the second half of April, than in recent days in China's largest apple producing region, the Shaanxi province.
According to the datas of the Chinese government; 310 000 hectares suffered significant damages, and in 67,000 hectares the whole harvest destroyed – reports the Xinhua news portal. In the most affected districts, production may decrease by up to 90 percent – reports Szabad Föld Online.
