Prices will increase at the Lake Balaton this year
This year, tourists will face a significant increase in prices at the Lake Balaton. According to an expert interviewed by Magyar Idők, the rising costs and labor shortages cause problems, but more attention should be paid to the quality of seasonal products as well.
Makkos Péter, Fonyód Chairman of the Hungarian Association for Trade and Catering Entrepreneurs (Kisosz), told Magyar Idők that the expenditures of seasonal buffets increased significantly as a result of the rise in the skilled worker’s wage and the high public burdens.
