The first meat from whaling was expensive in Japan
The first meat from commercial whaling that was refurbished after thirty years was sold at a very high price at an auction in Japan.
Fifteen thousand yen (40 thousand forints) were paid for only one kilo of minke whale meat on Thursday in an auction in Taiwan, which is a multiple of the average price paid so far. In Japanese restaurants, a portion of a whale steak costs about one thousand seven hundred HUF worth yen.. (MTI)
