Dr. Nagymarosy András received the Bussay László Memorial Award of the Pannon Wine Guild
The Pannon Wine Guild (Pannon Bormíves Céh) consists of prestigious family wineries. The Bussay László Memorial Award founded by the guild in 2013 was handed over on 8 December at the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal at the traditional Christmas celebration.
The awards is given each year to people who worked hard for the Hungarian wine culture representing the guild’s spirit. This year's prize was posthumously awarded to Dr. Nagymarosy András, who passed away in the autumn. The highly respected geologist, folk musician and writer was working at the ELTE TTK as a docent. He was the co-founder of the Wine College as well and was the, co-editor of the Wine Guide as well.
