Dr. Tamás Kozák: the diagnosis and the proposed treatment are not in harmony with the margin stop
The National Trade Federation (OKSZ) said it regrets that the government extended the official price system without professional consultation, as this swept under the rug the tensions lurking in the economy, which will only continue to accumulate and will definitely surface.
The biggest losers from the margin freeze will be small shops, as they will fall behind in the price competition against multinationals – concludes Tamás Kozák in this episode. The OKSZ Secretary General also explains why the missed consultation is not right and outlines the association’s policy proposals, which would be a cure – instead of a margin stop.
