Wine in cans
Our magazine reckons that there would be nothing wrong with selling Hungarian wine in cans. This innovative product is already popular in many parts of the world. What is more, just like in the domain of bag-in-box, better and better wines are marketed in aluminium cans..
According to the founders of Wine Society in California, aluminium cans is the fastest developing segment of the wine industry. They believe that premium quality wines should be marketed in practical aluminium cans at affordable prices. They sell their wines in 0.5-litre cans which cost USD 129 for a pack of 9 cans (about USD 14.5/can) – at this price rather good wines can be bought in glass bottles in the USA too. . . //
