More and more stores sell Quality Hungarian Pork
Pork products marked with the Quality Hungarian Pork (KMS) trademark. Hungarian pork meat and pork products are only allowed to use the KMS trademark if they regularly go through the strictest quality control process. In just one year 35 breeding farms, more than 10 abattoirs and processing plants earned the qualification. According to a survey conducted by the Ipsos Market and Public Opinion Research Institute – commissioned by the Livestock and Meat Interprofessional Organisation and Marketing Board (VHT) – 73 percent of Hungarians prefer buying products with some kind of certification, such as Quality Hungarian Pork, which certifies both product quality and origin.
