Dynamic export expansion to Asia

According to the experts of the Hungarian National Bank; Hungary was the only in the region that was able in the last two years, to increase its export to Asia within its own exports.

According to the datas of the Central Statistical Office, in this year’s January-March period, Hungarian exports to Asia increased by an average of 53 percent, while imports only grew by 5 percent. This will help to decrease the negative balance of trade deficit. Hungary’s export to China increased by 70 percent, exports to Malaysia, Taiwan, Singapore and Thailand increased by 120-170 percent on an annual basis – reports Portfolio.hu.
