Outstanding settlements in the field of cultural tourism are awarded
Art is Business is a value creation and preservation platform that induces meetings between artistic and business thinkers to create collaborations. One of the most important stages of this is the Art is Business Award, which has been announced since 2019 with the intention of awarding settlements, patrons, artists and corporate professionals who have performed outstandingly in the field of cultural life in the given year, and to promote the dialogue between artistic and business life.
Entries are being accepted for the third time in the cultural tourism category. The winner can follow in the footsteps of Nyíregyháza and Pécs and show why it is important for them to present local cultural values and art to visiting tourists and local residents. The category’s professional partner is Hungary NEXT Országmárka Műhely. You can apply for the 6th Art is Business Award until September 15, 2024.
In previous years, cities such as Pécs (2022) and Nyíregyháza (2020) won the award, and companies and individuals such as B. Braun Hungary, Mastercard, BMW Hungary, KPMG, Magyar Telekom, Intelligent Power Solutions, Vylyan Winery, Káli Art Inn, Egis Pharmaceutical Factory, Éva Duda Company, Zoltán Gazsi, József Sófi, Eszter Horgas, Dániel Dinyés, Andrea Rényi, András Polgár, Krisztián Gergye.
Art is Business announces the “Cultural Tourism” category every two years, the purpose of which is to present those Hungarian settlements that try to present their historical, artistic and cultural memories to the local community and tourists at a strategic level, and are able to incorporate the culture into its operation. Hungary NEXT Országmárka Műhely, led by Gábor Bódis, is a partner in the professional evaluation of the tenders – in addition to the jury.
