Hungarian honey bottle will be given an award

Award will be given to the Hungarian honey bottle on 23rd September on the Awards Ceremony of the 2009 packaging competition.

The winner bottle illustrates Hungary, with hexagonal bee cells, with the 130 year old logo of the Hungarian National Beekeeping Association (OMME) in the middle.
The honey counterfeiting has embittered the work of beekeepers for years, who last year decided to fight against fake honey. The OMME asked the OI Glass of Orosháza, to create a special honey bottle, that represents the quality and authenticity of Hungarian honey. The bottle can be only purchased by OMME members – reports Magyar Nemzet Online.
