H-Vend Service Kft. has developed drink and food vending machines using digital technology.
H-Vend Service Kft. from Szeged has developed drink and food vending machines that use digital technology, can be managed remotely, and can be controlled without touching, with EU support, said Gábor Haska, CEO and owner.
The specialist said at the press conference presenting the project that H-Vend Service Kft., founded in 2001, initially operated drink vending machines, and then expanded its scope of activity by transforming, designing, developing and manufacturing the equipment.
The vending machines are equipped with a control panel that meets customer needs, and the company also develops the necessary software and hardware. They presented their first equipment in 2010 at a professional exhibition, and the vending machines have been further developed over the years, he said.
During the 223 million forint project – of which 139 million forints were covered by EU support – they developed a hardware and IT system that provides a complex service background from a single source for their partners, who sometimes operate up to five thousand vending machines
– explained Gábor Haska.
Customers using the vending machines can receive dynamic information on the touch screens about available products and promotions, and with the help of a phone application developed for the system, they can even count calories.
Users can select the product contactlessly with the application, and thus pay using the wallet integrated into the application, into which even the employer can top up credits in the case of a vending machine placed in a factory – explained the expert.
He added that the vending machines can also be equipped with an RFID reader suitable for radio frequency identification, so that in a corporate environment users can even identify themselves with their access card.
