Lots of students at McDonald's

This year summer work for students is ten times oversubscribed at McDonald's. The jobs have run out in a few days. Until mid-summer 3500 person tried to get a seasonally job at the fast food chain.

The student rate of domestic workers at McDonald's is around 50 percent most of the year, but in summer, that number increases slightly. The company was always popular among the casual job-seekers, but since 2008 the number of those who interested, has dramatically increased. With 40-hour work a worker can earn a net 140 thousand HUF this year compared to last year’s 130 in a two months period – told Gáspár Ferenc, HR Head of Department of McDonald’s.
