World Diabetes Day: Representatives of 31-50 year olds spend the most on diabetes services
Diabetes is a growing threat to people’s health worldwide, with 537 million adults living with diabetes in the 20-79 age group, according to the International Diabetes Association. According to 2019 data of the Central Statistical Office, 1.1 million adult people in Hungary are affected by the disease. According to the experience of OTP Health Fund, more and more is being spent in recent years for diabetes, primarily for prevention purposes.
