Delta Technologies quick report: Increasing sales, positive half-year result
Since the business year of Delta Technologies Nyrt. differs from the calendar, it can publish a quick report on the numbers of the first business half at the end of March. Of course, this does not mean that the IT company of the system integrator, which is now also listed in the BUX, should not face the challenges of the time. Nevertheless, even in such market conditions, it was able to show a decent position: Delta Technologies reported a 71.5% increase in revenue compared to the previous period, and a net profit of HUF 18.8 million, compared to a loss that previously exceeded HUF 300 million.
Previously, only committed small investors knew, but since Delta entered BUX, the wider stock exchange public has to get used to the fact that, according to the decision made by the board of directors in 2020, Delta’s business year traditionally lasts from July 1 to June 30. Therefore, the IT company, which was included in the BUX a few weeks ago, will be able to report on the first half of the 2022-23 business year at the end of March.
The recession, the state spending more cautiously and the domestic corporate sector gasping for air after the covid period together make the situation difficult for those companies that dare to think in terms of five-year plans and formulate targets for such a time frame. At the same time, in the case of Delta, the half-yearly report shows no sign of a halt in sales revenue growth. Compared to the same period of the previous business year, the company group achieved HUF 10.93 billion in net sales in this half-year. This is 71.5% higher than the previous value.
