Deloitte: Hungarian companies spend more and more on research and development
The business-related spendings on research and development (R & D) increased significantly in the 2010-2013 period.
As a result, after nine years of stagnation of around 1 percent the proportional to GDP R & D spending increased in Hungary to 1.41 percent in 2013 – Deloitte’s panorama on research and development reveals.
According to the communication of Deloitte sent to MTI on Tuesday, the number of patents have also increased. By the end of 2010, 13 853 patents and by the end of 2013, 19,130 patents have been registered. (MTI)
