AI (artificial intelligence) has become the main driving force of the global digital economy, simultaneously transforming business software, search and content consumption – Deloitte wrote in a statement sent to MTI on Thursday based on its latest analysis.

According to the consulting company, AI is fundamentally transforming business software, creating new markets and radically changing how we search for information or products.

Artificial intelligence capable of autonomous decision-making could be the driving force of the next integration era. The market is estimated to reach $35 billion by 2030, up from $8.5 billion expected in 2026. However, according to Deloitte, with proper corporate coordination, automated, coordinated management and command of computer systems, software and services, it could grow to a market of up to 30 percent larger, to $45 billion.

According to the analysis, in 2026, 29 percent of the adult population of developed countries will encounter AI-generated search summaries daily.

Cloud-based services, SaaS applications, will become smarter, more personalized and more autonomous by 2026. Artificial intelligence capable of autonomous decision-making may even replace the SaaS models known today in the long term. This year, up to 75 percent of companies plan to invest in AI tools capable of autonomous decision-making

– Deloitte indicated.

AI capable of autonomous decision-making and automation accelerate hardware and infrastructure developments, while also increasing the vulnerability of supply chains. According to the analysis, by 2026, two-thirds of AI calculations will be performed for consumption purposes. This will continue to be predominantly done in data centers and will require more than $200 billion worth of advanced AI chips. The installed base of industrial robots could grow to 5.5 million in 2026, and by 2030, robot sales could reach one million units and $20 billion in revenue annually. New chip manufacturing technologies will emerge in 2026, and companies could spend at least $30 billion on these and other key technologies, according to Deloitte calculations.

They believe that almost $100 billion could flow into the development of sovereign AI capabilities this year. Countries outside the United States and China could double their domestic AI capabilities by 2030, especially due to the European Union’s AI sovereignty efforts, they indicated.
