Deloitte: 26 outstanding Hungarian companies awarded
Deloitte’s Private Best Managed Companies business mentoring program was launched in Hungary in 2022 with the aim of providing professional support to domestic private companies and recognizing outstanding performance; based on this year’s decision by an independent jury, 26 companies were awarded the Excellently Managed Companies qualification, the consulting firm told MTI on Friday.
According to their information, performance is assessed according to an international framework based on four pillars: strategy, innovation, culture and commitment, and management and finance.
Typically, well-managed, privately owned medium-sized to large companies can receive the qualification that have a mature strategy, efficient operations, a people-centered culture, and a solid, stable management and financial system.
The program recognizes companies every year based on the decision of an independent professional jury. This year, the leaders of the Hungarian National Bank, the Budapest Stock Exchange, MGYOSZ, OTP and the Budapest University of Economics participated in the assessment.
In the first year, 10 companies were certified, in 2023 already 16, in 2024 21 and this year 26 were certified.
The Best Managed Companies mentoring program gives companies the opportunity to analyze and develop their strategy, management, financial model and corporate culture with the help of external experts.
The Best Managed Companies program, launched by Deloitte more than 30 years ago, is now present in 48 countries and is considered one of the leading business mentoring programs in the world.
