Carrefour to invest in Southern Russia
According to local press reports, Carrefour plans to invest USD100 million in Russia's Krasnodar region over five years.
The retailer will sign an investment
agreement on the construction of hypermarkets with the administration
of Krasnodar Territory.
Carrefour opens two stores in October
or November 2008, one in Moscow, and the other one in Krasnodar.
Moreover. Company plans to open a minimum of 5 hypermarkets in 2009,
in Moscow, Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don.
