Deficit occured in China's foreign trade – for the first time in 6 years
China's foreign trade balance showed a 7.24 billion dollar a deficit in March, for the first time since April 2004.
In March, Chinese exports increased by 24.3, imports by 66.0 percent on an annual level. In February, Chinese exports increased in much greater extent, grew by 45.7 percent, compared with the same month of the last year. The spectacular import increase of March indicates the upturn in domestic demand and the growing demand for raw materials – reports profitline.hu, after MTI.
