Industrial production unexpectedly declined
Nearly a 12 percent drop occurred in the volume of the industrial production in December, compared to November. It was a negative surprise for the analysts.
According to the Tuesday report of Central Statistical Office; last December, industrial production declined by 11.8 percent compared with November, both according to the seasonally and working day adjusted preliminary datas
Production volume in 2010 was 10.5 percent higher than in 2009. In December 2010, the volume of industrial production increased by 6 percent, compared to December 2009 – reports MTI.
