Industrial production prices slightly dropped in December
As a result of changes in domestic and export prices, industrial production prices fell 0.5 percent in December from the previous month. In 2011 industrial production prices augmented by 4.2 percent. According to KSH’s quick report, domestic sales prices of the processing industry were 0.7 percent lower in December than in November; if compared with December 2010, they were 8.2 percent higher. Preliminary data show that the volume of industrial production climbed 2.1 percent from the same period twelve months earlier. In 2011 the level of production was 5.4 percent higher than in 2010. Measured in HUF, export prices in the industry were down 0.7 percent from November but were 7.5 higher than in December 2010.
