Agricultural production prices dropped 13.2 percent in December
In December 2013 agricultural production prices dropped 13.2 percent from the level of December 2012. The price of vegetable products became 20.1 percent lower, but the price of livestock/products of animal origin grew 0.1 percent from a year earlier. Cereal crops were 29 percent less expensive than they were in December 2012. In December 2013 the price of industrial vegetables decreased by 16.8 percent from December 2012 – oily crops’ price was 22.4 percent below that of twelve months earlier. In January-December 2013 production prices in agriculture reduced by 7.8 percent in comparison with the base period of January-December 2012.
