20th Farmer Expo: Rural Development Ministry to support family farms
The main purpose of the government is to support small- and middle-sized family farmer communities, hoping they would be the basis of domestic agriculture – József Ángyán, secretary of the Ministry of Rural Development pointed out on Thursday in Debrecen, at the opening ceremony of the 20th Farmer Expo.
According to the secretary of state, this is going to be a hard job as Hungary is a “torn, wasted” country at the moment, and farmers get a mere 19 percent of all agricultural products sold.
