D & B: the number of companies dealing with retail trade increased
Last year, the number of companies dealing with retail trade increased by four percent in Hungary, compared to 2010. The number of registered businesses which use retail as main activity exceeded 63 thousand in January this year – shows the analysis of Dun & Bradstreet Hungaria (D&B) company data provider.
The enterprises in the sector increasingly decide to close their units, among other things, due to the rising consumer prices and falling demand. In 2010, the bankruptcy rate of retail companies was 3.28 percent, nowadays this number exceededs 4 percent – reports MTI.
