Packaging that brings vacuum and MAP technologies into one single pack: Darfresh®
DarfreshBloomTM is specially designed for fresh red meat, it brings vacuum and MAP processes together in the same pack to reap benefits from both technologies.
DarfreshBloomTM
is the latest evolution in the 30 years of Darfresh® packaging expertise. The
DarfreshBloom pack consists of three webs. First, a rigid barrier bottom web is
formed on-line into a tray. Second, the new Cryovac® TB270 semi-barrier top
skin web serves to keep the meat close to the bottom web with hermetic seals.
Third, a top-lidded barrier web (Cryovac LID3050, ULM492, ULM604, EOM435BF)
maintains the gas mixture inside the pack and provides a flat surface for
enhanced communications. Between the two top webs, an MAP compartment holds the
gas mixture that allows the meat to retain its attractive bright red colour
while ensuring quality conservation.
