2014 was a great year in Hungarian Agriculture
The Hungarian agricultural output’s growth that is lasting for years continued in 2014. The output of live animals and livestock products exceeded the previous year’s level – Czerván György presented the 2014 agricultural datas on Friday.
Czerván György Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (FM) pointed out that agricultural output at current basic prices became 2,447 billion HUF, 5.6 percent more than in 2013. In particular, the output of the crop and horticultural products increased by 6.6 percent to 1454 billion HUF, the output of live animals increased by 2.6 percent to 553 billion HUF, while the output of animal products increased by 8.6 percent to 273 billion HUF.
