The welfare support for poultry breeders to be doubled

The welfare support for poultry breeders will be doubled to 8 billion HUF – Czerván György, Minister of State of the Ministry of Rural Development (VM), told during the meeting of the Poultry Product Council (BTT) on Thursday in Budapest.

Czerván György said that in the 2007-2013 EU budget period, the animal welfare support of the poultry holders reached 4 billion HUF.

The Minister of State also announced that by keeping in mind the interests of the poultry breeders, the legitimate claims after the first three quarters will be paid even in 2014. (MTI)
