The meaning of the phrase, which comes from the world of Roman law, is: whose interest is it? We could also ask: who benefits from it?
We photographed the creative patio furniture in front of a bar in Stuttgart: it is cheap for the entrepreneur, can only be destroyed consciously (but not easily), and its use helps to build relationships with the supplier, who could not possibly need simpler, more cost-effective outdoor advertising. And we would bet that you don’t even need municipal permits to put it on the street.
