Within a few days, the harvest will start in Hungary as well – agrarszektor.hu wrote. This year, the world is ahead of the harvest season, with the Russian-Ukrainian war leading to serious fears of a food crisis.

In Hungary, however, there is no need to be afraid of this: no matter how big this year’s crop is, it promises to be enough to satisfy the needs of Hungary. This year is expected to be paid more than ever for the new crop, but the domestic milling industry will have to buy this year’s wheat at any price because their stocks have run out. (MTI)
