Record breaking Alimentaria

Over five thousand companies from 70 countries attended the Alimentaria 2008 exhibition, which closed on 14. March. The total number of guests was 158,000. Italy was the largest exhibitor with 296 companies. The Spanish exhibition has become the second largest food show in the world, generating extra revenues of EUR 169 million for the region.
