Euro-zone’s business sentiment index is on top
In March, the European zone’s business sentiment index (ESI) stagnated on its five and a half year peak, however, the economic sentiment index has deteriorated somewhat.
In March the business confidence indicator, which points to the phase of the business cycle, was stable at 0.82 points, remaining at the highest level since June 2011 but below market expectations for an increase to 0.86. (MTI)
