Europe is getting more optimistic these days
According to the index, reflecting the expectations of November, the German consumer sentiment has increased to its more than five-year peak – the GfK market research institute announced on Friday.
The index rose to 6.3 points from the 6.1 points of October. GfK corrected the October datas from, 5.9 points to 6.1 points. Analysts surveyed by Dow Jones expected a 5.9 points, stagnant indice for November. The index reflecting on the November economic expectations improved from minus 17.2 points of October to minus 15.8 points. The revenue outlook index increased from 23.9 points to 29.9 points.
The propensity to buy indicator improved from 33.1 points to 33.9 points. GfK carries out its monthly survey by polling around 2 thousand consumers. (MTI, Világgazdaság Online)
