Chinese tourism on its peak
Tourism revenues in China increased significantly in 2013. According to the preliminary datas of the Chinese National Bureau of Tourism, tourism revenues rose by 11.97 percent on an annual basis. The aggregate income became 2,900 billion Chinese yuan, worth 104.8 thousand billion HUF.
According to the communication of the agency released on Monday, domestic tourists carried out 3.25 billion trips in 2013, while in 2012 this figure was 2.9 billion. The overall tourism revenues amounted to 2,590 billion yuan.
The head of the agency also reported that in 2013, 97.3 million Chinese traveled abroad abroad and 55.7 million foreign tourists visited China. (tozsdeforum.hu)
