The number of tourists in Spain broke records
The number of tourists in Spain broke records. During the first eight months of the year, 52.5 million people visited the southern European country – the Spanish Statistical Office (INE) told.
The data suggest that during this period 10.1 percent more people traveled to Spain than in the same period of 2015.
The majority of them, 12.4 million came from the UK, 8.3 million from France, and 7.6 million from Germany. (MTI)
