Szentkirályi Magyarország Kft. is recalling chips due to a packaging error
Due to a packaging error, Szentkirályi Magyarország Kft., as the Hungarian distributor of Lays products manufactured by Frito Lay sp. z o.o., is recalling chips and will provide free replacements for the affected products, the company told MTI.
According to their statement, on behalf of Magyarüdítő Forgalmazó Kft., the Hungarian distributor of Lays products manufactured by Frito Lay sp. z o.o., (an associated company of Szentkirályi Magyarország Kft.), they inform you that due to a technical error, part of the packaging of Lays Max Strong Chilli & Lime manufactured on February 9th contained another product, Lays Max Strong Hot Chicken Wings.
Some consumers may be concerned that this product contains a milk allergen, which was not indicated on the packaging.
They highlight: in cooperation with the National Trade and Consumer Protection Authority (NKFH), keeping in mind the health protection of consumers, they immediately took the necessary measures within their own competence and ensured that the affected items were withdrawn from circulation and recalled from consumers.
The expiration date indicated on the packaging of the affected Lays Max Strong Chilli & Lime products is 22.06.2025, and the defective production series is marked G401 20:00-20:30.
