ALDI has set an ambitious goal for itself: the international retail chain’s affiliates will cut their greenhouse gas emission by 30 percent as per sales area square metre until 2020 (in comparison with the 2012 level) in every country. ALDI Hungary managing director Tibor Székács told that green solutions would be introduced step by step to achieve the target – which is bigger than the 20-percent cut envisaged by the European Union.
