The Artisjus would reduce the catering music royalties
The Artisjus would significantly reduce the music royalties paid by the restaurants with an average of 19.5 percent from the next year – the Artisjus Hungarian Copyright Office Association told MTI on Monday.
According to the communication of the organization draft was submitted to Intellectual Property Office, which negotiated with the Tourism and Catering Employers Association (VIMOSZ) and with the Hungarian Association of Hotels and Restaurants (MSZÉSZ) in advance.
The final decision is the authority of the Minister of Public Administration and Justice. The approval is expected in December – the Artisjus writes in its statement. (MTI)
