A decline in agricultural producer prices
Agricultural producer prices decreased by 4.7 percent last December, compared to a year before, after the 5.5 percent decline in November. The price of crop products decreased by 11.8 percent, while the price of live animals and animal products increased by 8.4 percent – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Wednesday.
The purchasing price of milk is increasing since July 2016. In December 2016 it was 8.6 percent (7 HUF) higher than a year before, but the average price of 90 per liter HUF means an 36.4 percent increase within five months. (MTI)
