Consumer confidence decreased in the USA
Conference Board economic research institute’s consumer confidence index fell slightly in July, but became better than expected.
In July, the consumer confidence index fell to 97.3 points, from June’s 97.4 points. The market analysts – interviewed by the Wall Street Journal – expected significantly lower market value: 96.3 points for July. (MTI)
